Each language has information about its name, location of use, family, related languages, dialects, number os speakers, origin and history, orthography and basic phonology, basic morphology, basic syntax, contact with other languages, common words, example sentences, efforts to preserve, protect, and promote the language, and bibliography. Some have a table to illustrate the script (characters). The end of the book has a glossary and three indexes for country, family, and alternate names. The bottom edge of the spine strip is a little wrinkled. The front board and the text block each have a corner that is a little bumped. The only library markings are on each endpaper. The ends of the flaps' folds and adjacent corners are wrinkled. A 2 in. crease line is along the bottom edge. There are no library markings. Scans e-mailed upon request.
