Some slight edge wear to top and bottom of jacket and spine, spine and strip of front and back jacket faded, corners bruised, some slight yellowing to page block, not price clipped (£3.95), no inscriptions, internally clean tight and almost square, overall a vg copy. 166pp. 'A Guide for the Perplexed' is E. F. Schumacher's (1911-77), classic work of philosophy and a statement of the philosophies that underpin his economic masterpiece 'Small is Beautiful'. Schumacher asserts that it is the task of philosophy to provide a map of life and knowledge, which exhibits the most important features of life in their proper prominence. Quite a scarce book.
