Extremities rubbed and chipped, some splitting at spine ends, front hinges cracked, more so to vol 1, some browning and foxing to plates, vol 1 has brown staining to base corner of prelims and a few other pages (doesn't affect content), otherwise a clean and solid couple of volumes.. Engraved title page. Hardcover, rebound in 3/4 morocco with purple boards. 4 raised bands and ornate gilt design on spine. Good copy. Outer hinges rubbed; spine leather scuffed; corner leather worn through. A few plates are foxed, but only lightly. Clean and unmarked text. Byron's journey through Scotland, Spain, Turkey, Greece, Italy and Switzerland. Missing 12 plates but still a nice copy of this scarce title. Digital images available upon request. 1834.
