New York: Bantam, Date: 1981. 8th Printing. Mass Market Paperback. Good. 4x0x6. 8th printing. Ink name on edge. 1981 Mass Market Paperback. 358 pp. "Euripides (ca. 480 BCE–406 BCE) was the last of the three great tragedians of classical Athens (the other two being Aeschylus and Sophocles). Ancient scholars thought that Euripides had written ninety-five plays, although four of those were probably written by Critias. Eighteen or nineteen of Euripides' plays have survived complete. There has been debate about his authorship of Rhesus, largely on stylistic grounds and ignoring classical evidence that the play was his. Fragments, some substantial, of most of the other plays also survive. More of his plays have survived than those of Aeschylus and Sophocles together, because of the unique nature of the Euripidean manuscript tradition." - Wikipedia 1981. Bantam ISBN 0553213636 US

New York: Bantam Books, Date: 1985. Reprint. Mass Market Paperback. Very Good. 4x1x6. Reprint. Spine creased, rear wrapper three inches creased, page edges toned. 1985 Mass Market Paperback. 723 pp. Once again Jean M. Auel opens the door of a time long past to reveal an age of wonder and danger at the dawn of the modern human race. With all the consummate storytelling artistry and vivid authenticity she brought to The Clan of the Cave Bear and its sequel, The Valley of Horses, Jean M. Auel continues the breathtaking epic journey of the woman called Ayla. Riding Whinney with Jondalar, the man she loves, and followed by the mare's colt, Ayla ventures into the land of the Mamutoi--The Mammoth Hunters. She has finally found the Others she has been seeking. Though Ayla must learn their different customs and language, she is adopted because of her remarkable hunting ability, singular healing skills, and uncanny fire-making technique. Bringing back the single pup of a lone wolf she has killed, Ayla shows the way she tames animals. She finds women friends and painful memories of the Clan she left behind, and meets Ranec, the dark-skinned, magnetic master carver of ivory, whom she cannot refuse--inciting Jondalar to a fierce jealousy that he tries to control by avoiding her. Unfamiliar with the ways of the Others, Ayla misunderstands, and thinking Jondalar no longer loves her, she turns more to Ranec. Throughout the icy winter the tension mounts, but warming weather will bring ...

New York: Roc, Date: 1996. 1st Printing. Mass Market Paperback. Near Fine. 4x0x7. First printing. Light shelf wear. 1996 Mass Market Paperback. 285 pp. On a world of ice and freezing water, the Inutkak must claim their home. The Inutkak are one of the genetically engineered races, descended from old Earth stock, who have been sent to other planets to spread human dominion. Tep and his fellows must engage in a fierce struggle against the malevolent climate of their assigned planet and also against those who don't consider them human enough to warrant any consideration of their rights. In this situation, Douglas gives us a well-crafted, exciting, multidimensional conflict in which nothing is exactly as it seems. His most exciting achievement is to make the legal part of the Inutkak's struggle every bit as exciting as their tremendous battle with the elements. Eventually, Douglas' conception of the Arbiter, a civilized society's substitute for warfare, raises his yarn above the level of everyday space opera and makes it an intelligent, fast-moving undertaking. 1996. Seattle, WA: Ranger Doug's Enterprises, Date: 1995. Sticker. New. 3" x 4". Classic WPA Yellowstone Geyser vinyl sticker reproduction done in full color. "Between 1938 and 1941, the National Park Service commissioned WPA artists to create a set of posters for the growing National Park System. These were not just ordinary posters but handcrafted prints using the silk screen method. The onset of WWII derailed the project, with only fourteen parks receiving their prints. After the war ended, these posters disappeared into the dustbin of history. In 1971... a seasonal ranger in Grand Teaton National Park, discovered one surviving print stashed in a park barn, thus beginning a lifelong search for others in this set. Only 1,400 prints were initially made, and today only forty copies have been found. Two park posters have never been located, although photos of them exist." - Paragon Press "Serigraph print-historic design, contemporary colors. These colors were "guestimated" from our archived black and white photograph when we first published in 1994. An original WPA poster turned up 10 years and it was blue! Oh well. This image was created from a Haynes postcard (along with the Y'stone Falls poster) and is our most popular poster. This perspective of Old Faithful Geyser is iconic-and has been used many times for over 100 years!
