Ink gift inscription on front free endpaper dated 1860. The spine ends are rubbed as are the tips (corners) of the boards. Light scuffing to cloth but gilt illustration on front board still bright. Hinges starting but binding tight. Pages 59/60 creased with small marginal closed tear. Some light marginal soiling and foxing to contents. Overall, a good, to good plus, copy.
