Lutherse kerk aan het Singel, Amsterdam; 65. “Haag”: gezicht op ‘s Gravenhage; 448. “Rotterdam”: stadspoort en schepen op de Maas, naar C. Reiss. Overigens zijn dit ook de enige vier Nederlandse gezichten in de Duitse uitgave in 21 delen. Joseph Meyer (1796-1856) is ook de samensteller van Meyers Konversations-lexicon. [NL]

Titre et tomaison en lettres dorées. Rousseurs éparses, mais pratiquement limitées au dernier tome, et quelques traces d'usage sur les reliures. Pages 125-128 (comprenant la gravure n° 232) manquantes et quelques feuillets mobiles (mais présents) au tome 3, sinon ensemble en bon état général. Gravures des lieux célébres du monde entier réalisées par différents artistes et livrées mensuellement à l'époque à raison de 3 à 4 gravures chaque fois, accompagnées d'un texte explicatif de J.
