Random House 1956 Second Printing Hardcover Very Good Plus Size: 8x5x1; Vintage Cloth Cover Hardback Landmark Book is a Stated Second Printing and is in Very Good condition. Inside text is in Very Good Plus condition with a tight binding and clean crisp pages. Book appears to be unread. No writing or markings inside or outside of the book. The top page edges show some "spotting" which just appears to be "shelf wear" as it has no effect on the inside pages themselves and just appears that the book was sitting on a shelf for a long time, maybe pushing 70 years! Outside cloth covers show some minor soiling with some corner wear. No Dust Jacket. This is NOT an ex-library book, but has come from a private collection. A less common title in the Landmark series. Landmark Books and World Landmark Books are accurate, in-depth stories for young people in the 9-15 year old range. These living histories were written by award-winning authors or by men and women who experienced the events first hand.
