The book has a very slight lean, is extremely clean, with no corner bumps or edge dings and no fading. The spine ends are very lightly bumped with no fabric damage; the bottom edge has no wear and the hinges are strong. The interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any type and paper damage of any sort. The paper, including the end pages, is slightly toned but is very flexible. The VG- quality jacket has no fading and has tiny chips at the front corners and head of the spine, with a finger nail sized chip at the top of the front panel in the Landmark shield. The jacket is intact and is not price-clipped. This is a "Young Readers of America" (BMOC) and thus there are no book lists in the book or on the jacket.
