Focusing on the last 30 years of the 19th century, a history of the guns, shells, hunting techniques, technical developments, of shotgunning shooting. The Appendix provides details on over 400 shotgun makers of the time. 174 pages, 6-1/4" X 9-1/4", includes a section of photos. The dust jacket is intact. Jacket has some sun fading on the spine - all lettering is legible on the spine though, the background color on the spine is only slightly lighter than the color on the remainder of the jacket. Some minor rubbing wear marks on the back panel of the jacket. Jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Sturdy mustard yellow colored cover boards. Sewn binding. No apparent wear to the cover boards. Binding is tight and square. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. Edges of the text block are clean. Not a remainder copy, not a library discard. Attached photos are of the copy we have in our inventory.
