Book itself is in Very Good Plus to Excellent condition with a tight binding and clean crisp pages. Inside text appears to be Unread and Unused! No writings or markings in the book. But, the previous owner has trimmed the "Dear Young Readers" letter that was provided to members of the "Young Readers of America" Club. Previous Owner has trimmed and then taped the letter and signature to the first blank end page. The Synopsis of the book and the author information that was located on the front flap of the Dust Jacket has been cut out and taped to the first end page along with the "World Landmark" circular symbol with the book number "W-20" cut from the front of the Dust Jacket is glued in the upper right hand corner of the same end page. Also, there is a small tear on the last end page in the bottom left hand corner along the inside spine. This is NOT an Ex-library book, but has come from a private collection. The dust jacket is edge worn with some tears and creases and missing some pieces. There is light soiling and it is ruubed.
