Book itself is in Very Good Plus to Excellent condition with a tight binding and clean crisp pages. The inside text itself is in Excellent condition and appears to be unread and unused. NO writing or markings in the book. Outside Tweed cloth covers are Very nice with some very minor corner wear. Dust Jacket is in Very Good to Very Good Minus condition with some minor soiling to the back cover. Some edge chipping with some small missing pieces at the top and bottom of the outside spine and top back cover. Dust Jacket is now covered by a new clear mylar cover. We Were There Books are easy to read and provide exciting, entertaining stories, based upon true historic events. Each story is checked for factual accuracy by an outstanding authority on this particular phase of history. Though written simply enough for young readers, they make interesting reading for boys and girls well into their teens. One of our family's favorite series! 1960. Grosset & Dunlap [US]
