A 1/2 inch wear mark at the upper rear hinge, and some light board edge rubbing. The jacket shows some light scattered perimeter wear, mostly at the lower spine edge of the jacket. (see photographs). All pages are in fine condition and the spine is exceedingly tight and square. "First Edition" is stated on the copyright page. Illustrated throughout with sections of black-and-white photographs.
