[publisher: Random House] Hardcover This NF quality World Landmark book was published by Random House in 1956. It is square, extremely clean, with a very lightly bumped head and heel of the spine; the spine is clean; bottom edges and lower corners have virtually no wear; the hinges are strong and tight. The exterior looks almost new. With the exception of an inked name/year on the front paste down, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any type and paper damage of any sort. The paper is slightly toned but is very flexible. The VG- jacket is not faded. It does have small chips at both front corners and small chips and wear at the head and heel of the spine; it also has a series of tiny holes along the front gutter ridge (see photo). Rear panel has a 1" tear at the top of the rear fold. Both book and jacket list to #27.
