[publisher: A Signet Book] Softcover The author has signed this second printing, November, 1963 edition on the title page in black marker. There is paper loss to the front cover and spine mostly to the green lettering on the front cover and to the author's name and publisher on the spine cover. The image of the woman in a red dress sitting on a couch with the man reaching for her glass as if to pour more from the bottle he holds into it is almost complete-there are some minor spaces where the image is missing. The covers' edges show wear, e.g. some color loss, folds, creases at the lower corners and spine. However, this book remains intact and firmly bound. All edges are dyed red to this 224 page novel of Broadway and 42nd Street in New York. Actors, TV, and other entertainment industry participants are the basis for this novel.
