This is a unique issue in the squadron/signal series in that it details five aircraft in the same length of book that is usually dedicated to one. However because France's involvement in the second world war was so brief not one of the aircraft went on to a lengthy service career, so it would be hard to compile an entire issue on any one of the five. The value of this issue is how rare the subject aircraft are and what little documentation on them is available for public consumption. The analysis in French Fighter of WWII shows that French aircraft designs were better and more modern than France's aircraft industry is given credit for, and that French fighter units had more success shooting down German aircraft during the Battle of France than is generally recognized. I recommend this book. EB; 8vo 8"-9" tall; 50 pages.
