Then published under the title 'The Genetic General' in 1960. This edition restored text from the 1959 version and may represent a true 3rd revision. Sometimes identified as "3rd in the 'Dorsai Trilogy'", but considered to be the 1st in the 'Childe Cycle' around which following novels and short stories centre:- Synopsis: Donal Graeme set out to re-shape the galaxy, but first he must tear it apart. Donal Graeme, Dorsai of the Dorsai, was the final link in a long genetic train, the ultimate soldier, whose breadth of vision made him a master of space war and strategy - and something even greater.
