This book presents the background theory and practical uses of neutron optics. Because the wave-particle duality applies to neutron beams generated in nuclear reactors, optical techniques have direct applications in this area of research. The book assumes no knowledge of optics beyond undergraduate physics, and will be useful for those condensed matter physicists and chemists specializing in neutron theory and experimentation.
