John G. Webster is Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. In addition, he has developed 18 other books, including the Encyclopedia of Medical Devices and Instrumentation, and about 150 research papers. He is the recipient of the 2001 IEEE-EMBS Career Achievement Award.
