The Paradise of Submission: A Medieval Treatise on Ismaili Thought (Ismaili Texts and Translations)

Nasir al-din Tusi, the renowned Shi‘i scholar of the 13th century, produced a range of writings under Ismaili and later the Mongol patronage. This is a new English translation of his Rawda-yi taslim--the single most important Ismaili text from the Alamut period. In this work the Persian and English texts are edited and published together for the first time. This is Tusi’s major Ismaili work and the most important primary source on Ismaili doctrines during the Alamut period.
