About the Author: Alice Hunsberger is currently Visitng Research Fellow at the Institute for Ismaili Studies in London. She has previously taught history, philosophy and religion as Associate Professor at Hunter College and at Queens College (both in New York), as well as at the University of Technology in Isfahan. She received her PhD from Columbia University.
