Definitive biography of Wellington Mara (1916-2005), son of the founder of the New York Football Giants (in 1925, when he ws the ball boy for the team). Wellington officially joined the team in 1937, became president in 1965 upon the death of his brother, and held that position until his 2005 death. During his tenure, Mara helped to bring the team 16 divisional titles and four world championships, engineering trades for players such as Y.A. Title, Andy Robustelli, Del Shofner and drafting Frank Gifford.
