Our copy is a 1979 trade paperback reprint. Condition is very good, but with reservations: the previous owner has made a substantial number of markings in pencil to about 18 pages of the text and margins of one of the essays, "What is a Classic?" As well, there is a name in ink inside front cover and a small crease to the lower free corner of the front. Otherwise the book is firm and square with only mild edge wear.
