The text is illustrated with reproductions of colour and black-and-white reproductions of the photographers artwork. Colour photographic paperback binding with blue, white and black coloured titles to the front panel and black, red and white coloured titles to the back strip. Quoting from the rear panel blurb " ... Michelangelo was commissioned by the Doges, Stubbs by the landed gentry and Hipgnosis by the reprobates of rock 'n' roll.
