You want to know about the 1968 Democratic convention and the resistance to carrying on the Vietnam War the way it was.Farber was 12 and living in Chicago and was told by the police to scram. He was too young to be involved in the action. this book, is his making sense of what happened in his hometown and why the major actors on both sides did what they did. If you are at all interested in the Vietnam War or politics in the US, this is an important book to read, along with Farber's the Age of great Dreams, which I do not have for sale, ig you want to understand where we are as a nation in 2018.photos, footnotes, bibliography, index.
