Graduated bright pink covers with coloured, laminated cover girl to front (Ana Bertha Lepe). Further details to front and rear, which also has glossy b/w model reclining on piano. The covers have some light surface wear and the spine has a very light crease, but are otherwise undamaged, clean and bright. The pages block has a slight wave towards the top (see image). 262pp; profusely illustrated with 200, predominantly b/w, but also some coloured images, all printed on quality semi-gloss paper. These include some reproductions of film posters and introductory graphics to the principle sections, namely: 'Charming Ladies', 'Beauty Pageant', 'Dangerous Babes' and 'Young and Beautiful' - although many of these 60 featured women might belong to several, if not all, of the categories! Each individual is accompanied by some textual information in English and Spanish, and there is a useful Bibliography and Index to the illustrations, followed by a list of Awards given to Mexican actresses between 1940 and 1969. The contents are tight, bright and clean, with no additional markings or inscriptions, and minimal only evidence of being handled. One of 2000 unnumbered copies, now Scarce.
