Jacket has a crease at the top corner of the front flap, a small scratch mark on the spine panel - about 1/4" long, and a small poke mark on the back panel at the spine gutter - also about 1/4" long. A nicely printed edition, as tends to be the case with the University of Chicago Press. Sturdy blue cloth covered cover boards, with the title in gold on the spine. Cover is flat, the corners are not bumped or worn. no edge wear. Edges of the text block are clean. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. Sewn binding is tight and square.
