ISBN10: 0715342819, ISBN13: 9780715342817, [publisher: David & Charles] Hardcover Published by David and Charles (Reprint Series) in 1968, having originally been published by John Murray in 1862, here is the reprinted hardback version of Samuel Smiles' LIVES OF THE ENGINEERS: Volume 3 with a new introduction by L.T.C.Rolt. 512 pages, illustrations, blue cloth binding, gilt lettering, the book is in good condition with some very minor spine creasing and some fading to the cloth at the base of the spine, plus some dusty spotting to the outside top page edges. There is the name of previous owner, revered Oxford scholar Tony Cockshut written in pencil to the front free end paper Tony has also made a few pencil marks in the borders. The dust jacket is very good with a modicum of spine tanning and some spotting to the front on the edge of the fold. The book is heavy and therefore to keep the business remotely viable, additional postage MUST be applied to areas OUTSIDE Europe as follows: Rest of the World £5
