Mixed set of three OVERSIZED hardcovers with dust jackets;---1860-1905, published 1979 by Mayflower Books, New York, 440 pages including "---400 [black-and-white] photos and 500 constant scale drawings", plus 3 additional photographs laid in by previous owner; book gently used, tight in binding, shelf wear to bottom edges of covers, pale faded old waterstain at bottom corner of page edges without page penetration, ink gift inscription on free front endpaper, text pages very clean and unmarked, overall Very Good - condition; DJ rubbed at hinge corners, Very Good + condition;---1906-1921, published 1985 by Conway Maritime Press, London, First Edition, 439 pages including "---nearly 1,000 [black-and-white] photographs and specially commissioned line drawings"; book almost as new, very gently used, if at all, tight in binding, not a trace of shelf wear, just a hint of discolouration along bottom edges of covers, possibly due to exposure to moisture, otherwise very clean and unmarked throughout, all pages exceptionally fresh and white, in Very Good ++ condition; unclipped DJ gently bumped at spine bottom, one very tiny tear at spine top, just a hint of discolouration inside along bottom edge, also in Very Good ++ condition;---1922-1946, published 1980 by Conway Maritime Press, London, later (2001) printing, 456 pages including "---over 1,000 [black-and-white] photographs and constant scale line drawings"; book essentially as new, very gently used, if at all, tight in binding, not a trace of shelf wear, very clean and unmarked throughout, all pages exceptionally fresh and white, Fine condition; unclipped DJ gently bumped at spine top, two very tiny tears, Very Good condition;---previous Portuguese-Canadian owner was ship model maker and published ship historian A.
