About This Item

Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 1989. First English language edition. Hardback. Very Good/Good. Cambridge University Press, Cambridge, 1989. Book condition: very good. A little shelf wear with some slight pressure marks to lower edge of front board. Previous owner's name & date to ffep. Internally very clean. Dust jacket: good. Unclipped. Some edge wear and chipping to corners, small perforation to spine. Generally a little rubbed. This is the second volume to be published in English of one of the finest introductions to the medieval world. Lavishly illustrated with numerous accompanying maps and charts,it presents a synthesis of scholarly research and interpretation, translated and revised thoroughly for an English speaking readership. The first volume to be published in this series covered the period 1250 - 1520 and the third volume covered 950 - 1250. To be clear, we are only offering the volume covering 350 - 950 and not the full set. Each volume is complete in itself. The book is very heavy and with packing materials will probably exceed 2kgs but there will be no extra shipping costs to UK destinations.
