ISBN10: 0140153616, ISBN13: 9780140153613, [publisher: Penguin Books Ltd, United Kingdom, London] Softcover This collection of articles and interviews offers an insight into Bob Dylan - his personality, tastes, humour and above all his methods of composing, rehearsing, playing live and recording. The book is edited by John Bauldie, founder of the Dylan Magazine. The collection includes interviews with people who have been close to Dylan, such as Bonnie Beecher, and a number of figures who have worked with and been influenced by Dylan, ranging from Eric Clapton, George Harrison and Roy Orbison to Patti Smith and Ron Wood. Dylan's activities in areas other than music are also explored, for example an essay on Norman Raeben, the man from whom Dylan took painting lessons in the mid 1970s. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition. Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.
[Goring-By-Sea, WS, United Kingdom] [Publication Year: 1992]
