The green cloth covers are well preserved with firm edges. The book is cocked. Previous owner's bookplate on the front paste-down. Foxing to the fore-edge and top of the textblock with a few small stains. The contents are largely clean, remarkably bright, unmarked, and complete. Olive cloth cover with decoration in blind and gilt on both boards and the spine, top edges gilt. Cover with minor soiling, some tears and rubbing to the corners and spine ends, bumped corners and rubbing. Names of two former owners written on the front free endpaper. Pages with some minor scattered foxing. Staining on pages 132 and 133 from a flower(?) that was once pressed there, but the text is still readable.
