Collated complete. A display of the antiquities of Scotland held by the baronage and the church, including: Aberbrothock Abbey, St. Andrew's Cathedral, Doune Castle, Falkland Palace, Glasgow Cathedral, Huntley Castle, Kelburne House, Maybole Tower, Spynie Palace, and Udny Castle. Illustrated by Robert William Billings, a British architect and author. Bound by Maclehose, Glasgow. In the original full green morocco binding. Externally, sound with rubbing and wear to the extremities. Fading to the spine and marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd handling mark. Light age toning to the extremities and minor chipping to the edges of the first and last few pages. Further age toning to the endpapers of volume four.
