Random House 1962 Hardcover Very Good Size: 8x5x1; This is a SCARCE title from the wonderful Landmark series. Book is in Good to Very Good condition with a tight binding and mostly clean crisp internal pages with some minor soiling and a few small bent top page tips. This is an ex-library rebound cover book with the expected library markings, but they are not excessive and the inside text is VERY nice. Outside pictorial covers are library rebound showing only minor corner and edge wear. Landmark Books and World Landmark Books are accurate, in-depth stories for young people in the 9-15 year old range. These living histories were written by award-winning authors or by men and women who experienced the events first hand. Written during the 1950's and 1960's and illustrated either with two-color drawings or clear photographs, the books are informative, enjoyable, and well worth reading and collecting. World Landmark Book #53. From the introduction-"This is the story of Jesus' great apostle, St. Paul, the man who played an extraordinary part in founding the Christian religion and carrying the new faith to the Western world. In recounting Paul's remarkable and frequently dangerous adventures, Dr. Harry Emerson Fosdick has written an absorbing biography of great interest to young readers, both for its religious significance and for its dramatic story.
