Pictorial boards halfbound in an ochre colored backstrip with very dark brown lettering on the spine and boards. Book has light bumping at the head and tail of the spine and at the tip of the lower front outside corner. Copper colored map endpapers. Binding is straight and tight. Pages are all clean, white, and crisp. 248 pages. Illustrated with a couple pieces of artwork and a frontis portrait of William Clayton. Dust Jacket - has light rubbing at the head and tail of the spine and at the tips of the four outside corners. Tiny chip in the tip of each of the two upper outside corners. 1" closed tear on either side of the head of the spine with a few accompanying wrinkles. Faint facial rubbing in a few places. Sounds like a lot of flaws, but the book is clean and tight, and actually presents very nicely overall. $8.95 price on the upper corner of the front inside flap.
