Random House, Date: 1960. Hardcover. Very Good Plus/Very Good Minus. 8x5x1. Robert Frankenberg. Vintage Landmark Cloth Cover Hardback Book with Dust Jacket. Hard to Find Book with Dust Jacket! Book itself is in Very Good Plus condition with a tight binding and mostly clean crisp pages. Inside text appears to be unread and unused, but there is a neatly done inscription from "the Catholic Women's League as highest award for Arithmetic, Grade VI, Holly Rosary School June 1962". Unfortunately, I do not believe the Award Winner ever read this book! No other writing or markings in the book. Outside cloth covers are very nice. Dust Jacket is in Very Good Minus condition with some minor soiling and some heavier edge chipping primarily to the outside spine and the top and bottom edge of the front cover. Dust Jacket is now covered by a new clear mylar cover and is price clipped. This is a scare title and one of the ones we find harder to find! Landmark series. Landmark Books and World Landmark Books are accurate, in-depth stories for young people in the 9-15 year old range. These living histories were written by award-winning authors or by men and women who experienced the events first hand.
