Houghton 1958 First Edition Hardcover Very Good in Good jacket This copy belonged to Odell Shepard and he noted on front endpaper in great detail how "shockingly bad" this book is. Virtually every page has his comments and slash marks. This would make a book study in itself. Also there is a long ALS from W.H. Schofield to Shepard laid in. The letter is written in 1919.
