He flew 32 missions & received the Silver Star & DSC. In a 2 p.+ hand written note on blank pp. near the start of the book Walter Stewart explains in detail about Jimmy Stewart's role during the war & how seriously Jimmy took pilot & plane losses. So seriously in fact that command was worried about Jimmy's mental health. Ultimately Jimmy was transferred to Walter's position when Walter left for another assignment. A one of a kind book. 2005.
